If you're doing OCR there's a decent wikibook on communications. For that and the other specs there are some useful bits of info on the University of Southampton Electronics and Computer Science website.
I've just received the SEP booklet on communications - it extends quite well from the GCSE to the A-level material. If you're not a SEP member, I suggest you join. It's free.
